I've been lucky this year. Usually I get 2-3 times per winter with some sort of illness.
The RN program is set up to take 2 years (it's an associate degree). However there is a waiting list and I'm working full time while doing it so it will probably take me closer to 3-4 years. So I'm hoping worst case scenario I'm 32 by the time I get it.
