Default Beans, Everywhere Beans

One of my favorite easily prepared meals, quick to put together and cook all day, my famous (within the family) bean soup.

large crock pot
2 ham slices, diced
1 large onion, chopped
3 cans of diced tomatoes
2 cans of navy beans
2 cans of Great Northern beans
1 can of pinto beans
tsp of red pepper flakes

Use all liquids in the cans.

Combine all, let it cook on high for about 6-7 hours, stir occasionally.
Don't add salt, the ham flavor should be just right.

Serve with your favorite dipping bread and butter.

Give it a try, you may like it. Leftovers, freeze for future meals.
