The email includes a direct link to the post in which you were mentioned.
Else, the mention notification on the upper right of the forum will direct you to the mentions tab on your profile page, where you will find a link to the thread in which you were mentioned.
Finally, if you prefer not to be emailed when someone @mentions you, visit User CP, and at the bottom of the left menu are the
User Tagging settings, check the "Disable Mention Emails" box...And review all the various other options and set them as you prefer. Then "Save Changes" at the bottom of that page.

DAB; # is a hashtag, basically makes it a search term, it does not page or notify anyone. If you want to page someone, use @username.
