My shareholders are myself, and my wife and her daughter.

IF ALL I WORRIED ABOUT WAS MY BOTTOM LINE, I would have no guitars, cameras, dogs, because all these endeavors affect MY bottom line.

I just feel everyone should be a little civic minded. From corporations right down to the individual. $$$ is certainly important, but not EVERYTHING.

And to reiterate, the government should not FORCE corporations to donate or organize civic events. They should stay out of it.

But the argument that "The bottom line is ALL THAT MATTERS" is short sighted.
I get where you are going. You didn't "form" your household to buy all that cool stuff plus copious amounts of haircare products, though.

In our case, we give from the corporation and after-tax, from our incomes.

I certainly didn't form a corporation with that as a stated intention, although I am glad we can.
