Genius and Eccentricity definitely go hand-in-hand. The smartest guy I have ever known personally refused to buy a refrigerator for his apartment because he ate all of his meals at Jack in the Box. He also threw all of his bills into the trash unopened, because paying bills was a waste of time. To keep the lights on he would send in a check maybe once per quarter with an amount he estimated would cover his costs for that quarter, expecting that every month each utility would deduct whatever he owed that month from his outstanding positive balance.
