I advise otherwise, not as a fanboy, but as someone who has been in NE FL numerous times--I failed to mention the area has many great golf courses, St. Augustine is a town all must visit, I could list 100+ great things about NE FL.
Jax Metro has 1.7M people, any area this size has some issues, you chose to focus on such, very weak, very bias, very trite.
I could live in NE FL, but only if I am kicked out of SE FL.

And I live within literally a 30 minute drive of several active members on this forum, too. Seems like the place can't be that bad, but I will admit traffic sucks very much bad on Blanding and the highways. That and the Jagwads suck. Other than that, it's a great place with a lot of things available to do as far as services, jobs, and recreation.
