At the sale they had an entire bagging system for sale. I'm sure it went with this mower and they were trying to maximize $ or too dumb to realize it was probably originally on this one. Looking around online the bagging system or parts bring good $ I should have made them include it!

Yes, HF engines are excellent value for the $. Try and rescusitate the current mill first but if it is dead go get a China motor with the same shaft diameter, keyway dimension and shaft length (too long? break out the hacksaw). You will likely need to redrill mount plate holes and maybe fab a bit on the exhaust side.
