I have my mind set.
I'm comfortable with the technology , the surgeon, and location that I am having it done at.
Older technology has lasted 25+ years.
It of course depends on the patient.
I have killer medical insurance, disability insurance, and plenty of sick time coming at work. I'll make more money being out for 8-10 weeks than working.
The stars have aligned.
What if in two years, I'm offered a buyout? See ya !! Bye bye !!
The downside ? I get to pay for health insurance.
If I have to get it redone when I'm , say 74, 20 years from now, I'm quite sure that the millennials will pay for it.
