True, but Joe Crowley didn't really campaign at all because there was no Republican challenger in his district. AOC primaried him with an incredibly low voter turnout because there are a lot of Hispanics in that district, and not surprisingly, AOC is popular among non-Hispanic women as well.
It sounds to me like the RNC learned from that mistake. Had they been on the ball, they might have flipped the seat of a 10 term Democrat. Instead, they basically handed it to a loud-mouthed bimbo.
