I don't know what bidness school the latest owners of Nike attended, but you never alienate a potential customer segment.
Oh, you certainly aim towards a few select groups... but also hope the "nearby" segments might buy your products as well.
Nike is saying to me: "we don't want your business". Message received; loud and clear.
