I got a call this morning from the shop. My truck is back together and seems to be running well. They want to keep it over the weekend and put some miles on it and make sure there are no issues. The only thing of concern is the mention of "scratches" on the cam, but they don't think it needs any further attention. I need to get that statement in the paperwork I receive so that if the cam fails and/or takes out the lifters, I will be covered again.
