the thing about little boxes is they take about as long to make as larger boxes. so if you were selling them, you couldn't use material cost x some factor to get an idea of what to charge. you'd have to track how long it took and then figure out what you want to earn per hour.
the hinge mortises were all hand cut, no router, and i had to fiddle with them several times to get them just right. took about an hour to cut them all.
a pleasant hour of making shavings in my shop.
