Yeah right?!
I was doing both for a while. Of course "our" daughter came to live with us when she was 11 (5 yrs ago) and have received just 1 payment from her mom.
Of course while I was giving her $1100/month for "my share" she was running all over town telling everybody I was a deadbeat and not paying her at all.
