After looking at what was available for the C5 I just could not find a kit that I was happy with. Well, I had read about the LSD kit in a recent thread here, but had not seen one in person. I sent
LSD[/URL] an email asking about their kits and to my surprise they actually called me to answer all my questions and then some
Here's some preliminary pics of my install of the LSD kit on the passenger side.
Here's the kit as it comes, very well made and very complete...
The initial fit up and install went very well
In the open position, notice the cover plate for the wiring harness that comes in the kit.

Here's the one piece that makes these hinge kits so much different. LSD calls it the "Magic Stick" and they are right. This one piece keeps the door aligned at the bottom and prevents all wooble when you're opening or closing the door. It lines the striker up everytime and you don't have to worry about lining the door up before you close it
