I do miss it. I really miss the excitement. The sense of adventure. The feeling of being part of something that makes a real difference.

Being a civilian is boring. Sure you can do some exciting things like whitewater rafting, flying, motorcycle riding, and driving the vette at 140+, etc but there isn't a feeling of purpose in those things. I miss exploring new ports and places I've never been.
