I drive 650 miles on regular basis one way and huge difference between 11 hrs and 16 hrs of being in a car, yes I've had bad trips and have taken that long. Driven 12 hrs one way and flipped around and drove straight back but it was easy driving.

Having to stop 4 1/2 hours for charging does not make for a "one shot" road trip.
