I'm like Data, I had a loaner for 2 months while the dealer worked on the Caddi. I washed and waxed it, detailed the interior and turned it back over cleaner than I got it. I don't like a dirty car even if it is a beater.
Drove major POS's when I was young and swore I would never do it again if I could afford otherwise. My Wife's TrailBlazer SS is 12 years old and the paint looks like you are falling into a river. Even our Transit Connect for the dogs is kept spotless. Working at an Aluminum Smelter makes it a pain to keep the Jeep clean but it is regularly detailed and clean. People at work can't believe how clean I keep my cars but that is just how it is done. I might flog the hell out of it, abuse it to no extent but it is done clean.
