This is my position on it. It exists. It does not mean you get to take over the airwaves, or have entire episodes or seasons dedicated to you. Just "be". There are VERY few instances where the plot line requires that the person declare their homosexuality, yet the networks insist on making it a focal point. Who cares? Be gay, be straight, be whatever. What does it add if you announce it? What doe sit take away if you don't?
