Default Had to put my Husky down today

My best buddy Logan, he's been having seizures since August. We've been trying to manage them with meds but they kept happening. Meds made him a zombie and his quality of life sucked.

We were trying a new med after he had a seizure last Monday. He hadn't been right since the seizure and Saturday he was having trouble breathing, was vomiting, and his cheeks were flapping and he was just not right. Got him to the emergency Vet and x-rays revealed his esophagus was loaded with kibble. Basically the seizure caused his esophagus to stop pushing his food and meds down to his stomach. He was suffering and no amount of treatment was going to be successful. We had to let him go today. He would have been 5 on June 7th.

He was the sweetest, friendliest Husky you ever met, everyone loved him. I am beside myself with grief as well as the family.
