Prices on teak are/were crazy.
Here's some pix of a pandemic project I did back in summer 2020
(during the height of lumber prices).
I used maple to replace the rotting Vietnamese wood planks on this swing
with a similar metal frame.
Maple was pricey, but about 1/10th the price of teak (I'm no baller)
Natural finish coated with spar varnish.
