Yep...the kid is a beginner according to the OP.
That's also why I asked about a powered pedal board.
That alone leaves room for lots-0-gifts for the next few years.
If his genre interest changes from metal, still room for more pedals.


A good dad would locate a 1971 Gibson SG with dual HB's and give that as a gift.
