About three years ago at my previous employer, a 22 year old machine operator screwed up some parts. I let him know he messed up, told him how to not let the problem repeat itself and to pay attention to details.
I was stern and to the point but fair with no yelling or ranting.
He cried. He literally cried that I told him he screwed up. A freaking "young adult" crying because he was told he didn't do something correctly.
