When I sold our primary home up north I had a face to face meeting with the mayor of the town and one of the things I told him is that we were selling because the taxes keep going up and we get nothing for them. I suggested a few options that could help them keep taxes down and then he said he would be sorry to see us go.
I looked at him and asked why ?
Before he could answer I told him that when I sell the house the new people will pay the taxes so do you really care that we are leaving ? |
