Forecasters got it WAY wrong here fortunately. Yesterday we were predicted to get 10-15 inches of rain, high winds and 6-8 ft storm surge. Now we might get 1 inch of rain and peak sustained winds of 33 mph later today. Eye will now go 100+ miles offshore instead of right over us, then turn back to hit SC as a Cat 1 hurricane.

Here on the First Coast, we usually get hit with the leftovers of the hurricane and that's lucky for us. Last one that caused major issues was Irma. Had to let the flooding go down in Riverside, downtown, San MArco, along the river and clear the fallen trees off the roads. That took two months to clear the trees and limbs here in Orange Park.
