It was a par-5 and we didn't finish it. The temp had dropped all day and I wasn't the only one looking for my ball in a ditch. Once we all got across near the green, it started pouring and it was down right miserable. As we sat under a little pavilion in our carts, I was the first to say "You know, we could just go home. We got the front nine in." The other three guys just sorta thought about it for a few minutes and off we went back to the parking lot. The radar looked bad and it was a good thing we left, it just rained and rained.
And actually, a lot of guys I know have wrecked their body playing golf. It's not always the core cause of their back/hip/knee/shoulder/elbow/wrist problems but it sure doesn't help much. Tiger Woods likely agrees.
