The problem is; the local supplies were being shipped west to Lake Charles area because of the damage from the hurricane Laura.
People were finally getting insurance monies, buying supplies, and lining up work crews (major shortage of those).

Hurricane Delta comes in and blows away all their supplies, making current damage worse, and damages the area that was sending them a major portion of supplies.

One way people are helping is using their trucks and flat-beds, hot-shot trucks, etc... and shuttling supplies from Houston, Arkansas, Miss.

One other thing; it isn't making the news because people are working together, helping each other, feeding each other, and crews.

Black, brown, white getting along and caring for each other is not news worthy...
