I prescribe albuterol for the chest tightness and also RX either pulmicort respimat inhaler or nebulizer ampules if they have one. The pulmocort reduced the inflammatory reaction in the lungs, which is the part that usually lands folks in the hospital on nasal canula O2 or the vent.
As I’m sure you know if your O2 levels drop below 90%, get to hospital.

Yes I have both a rescue inhaler and a steroidal inhaler. Over the course of a few hours I took several hits from each and the oxygen is back up to 94-95% now.
A friend of mine had it back in Sept. She said she had to take naps in the afternoons for a few weeks afterward.
