Simples
To me, an avatar is kind of a symbol of your identity without reading 800 posts. It should be something that represents you, or something you like, whether that is flying kites, fishing, or politics. I would say that if you are pro Trump or Pro Biden, a "pro" image should not be an issue. An anti image for the other guy is a different story. I'm not in charge though. My avatars change now and then because something crosses my path that I like, or I'm making a joke or something. I don't feel any need to fire shots at anyone with my avatar except maybe myself.
