The first time I shot a gun was when my uncle took me to a range in Fort Worth when I was about 12 or 13. Shot a .22 rifle, then a 20 ga shotgun, then a 12 ga shotgun, then he handed me a full auto M16 on single fire. After I shot about 20 or so through it he demostrated full auto and then let me try it full auto with just a few rounds in the mag. That went OK. So then he put about 15 rounds in. That went OK. Then I got a full 30 round mag and emptied it in like 2 seconds. I was laughing like an idiot the whole time. Oh, and didn't spaz out like this dude.
