Personally I would not be carrying in that case. Places like NYC and DC get pretty radical with their anti freedom laws and application thereof. Like that poor soul in DC who is getting prosecuted for having a shotgun shell in his home. With stuff like that going on, there's no way to anticipate how laws will be applied.

As uncomfortable as it makes me feel, I throw the dice and take my chances with the rest of the sheep when I go into DC.
