we're (I) am not going to wait until late december to declare a winner, i'll go with the declared winner and vote total announced election night or the next day or so, depending how long some states take to count all these mail in and absentee votes. in NM, they have to stop counting at 1130pm on election night, and can resume the next morning. i don't think too many states are set up to handle the volume of ballots that are not cast on election day.
