We had a place on Lake Texoma through my college years. My parents had a '19 Cobalt Jet boat. Some friends of ours had a gray Taylor SS jet boat with a 454 in it that looked similar to that one. I remember a few runs across the lake at 80 mph in it. It seemed like it was 180!
The same guy later had an accident in it when he was taking a friend of his and both of their daughters fro a ride. The boat got too much air underneath it an launched. It through all of them out of the boat. There were some broken bones but they survived.
