Rules
→ Nothing From Your Archives/Files.
→ Go out and shoot a photo.
→ Can be a local band or orchestra.
→ Can be a college, high school, etc... band
→ Can be a lone street musician.
→ Can be as simple as a student practicing scales.
→ NO professional concerts (famous bands/artists).
→ Famous bands/artists can be used if they are involved in a free or impromptu situation. (dropping in/sitting in with locals)
→ Famous bands/artists can be used if they are playing in a festival/street fair situation where there are other activities.
→ Locals interacting (dancing, air guitaring, etc,...) in the shot makes for a good photo.
→
NO ENHANCING, post raw photos.
→ Yes; cropping to frame the subject is allowed.
→ Camera or phone...makes no difference what is used.
→ Indoor / classroom or outdoor photos.
Please don't try and complicate the rules...taking photos of an Elton John concert at the Staples Center is not what this is about.
Go out in your community and get some shots.
Be sure to add the story or info of who or what is in the photo.
Most importantly; have fun getting the photos.
