You know Witness 8, Dee Dee? Well, the latest document filed by Zimmerman's lawyers mention the text messages sent back and forth between Dee Dee and Trayvon that day. Seems, among other things, they were fighting about that gun. It apparently was in the possession of Dee Dee and Trayvon wanted to buy it for $80 but she wanted more money.
