I try to maintain a "central" viewpoint (yep, some of y'all are on my last nerve), because in the end it actually does require some compromise. Only presenting the gaussian outcasts has made the media money, but not actually solved any of the problems.
For the record, I did not vote for a presidential candidate. While I definitely appreciated the policies of Trump, he is a buffoon. Why can't we find someone that actually has some amount of self-awareness and wants to protect the values that are held dear by many citizens?

Bill D., I know, but just save it. That's not a current option. While I really tend to lean Libertarian, I also believe there should be some sort of safety net for those in need.

Every candidate in the last 100 years, falls in to two categories. Capable or Presentable. That's it. Those are the choices.
Buffoon is a matter of opinion. Capability was not. He could, and did, get the job done.
In the solitude of your own room, do you want the marginally attractive girl that will run you ragged in bed and cooks like a master chef (capable) or do you want the super-model that files her nails while you work up a sweat and can't figure out how to run water ?
