They voted for the progressive value system where a mentally ill boy is valued over a non mentally ill girl. Maybe if the guy's daughter had been lesbian, or was a Muslim, or black, or a midget or something, things would have been different, but as it was the sexual emergency of the dress wearing boy supersedes any expectation the straight girl had not to be raped in a bathroom.
