It’s depressing, actually. They no longer open the gates to non-residents (without a visitors pass from a resident) for the trick or treaters. So, if you don’t know someone that lives in the community, you can’t trick or treat here. Not as many kids.
Some jerk complained, I’m sure. Instead of just leaving their porch lights off for one day a year, they had to ruin it for everyone.
