I work with a woman who has the reputation of going into 2 cycle mode when she starts talking. I have never seen anyone in my life that could move her mouth and make continuous noise for so long at one time.
We were in a meeting one time and she got started on a roll... I sat there and watched her spew for 5 minutes without breathing. I finally screamed at her..."BREATHE!!" she didn't even hear me.. it took me 3 times before she heard me.
It cost her a promotion because she flunked the interview, not from not knowing the job but because she talked too much and too fast and talked over the interviewers.
