That is absolutely horrible. I couldn't imagine having to deal with that.
I understand though about the avatar. When my grandmother passed away at 96 I couldn't delete her phone number. Sometimes I'd call it and just let it ring. Finally my wife deleted it and initially I was mad, but before I could say anything to her I realized it was best. I couldn't do it and she had to, to allow me to move on.
