I - and everyone I've talked to - would gladly pay an extra dollar for a head of lettuce or a bag of grapes if it meant securing our borders and putting people to work. Citizens may not want to pick lettuce for $6 an hour but they probably would for $12.
The money we'd save in taxes used to support the illiegals would make up the difference to the individual.
