Default Asking for positive juju today please

My dad is on the homestretch. He’s down to 103lbs and has fluid in his lungs. He was taken by ambulance to hospital on Monday for what appeared to be a mini-stroke. As an added bonus, chest x-ray showed fluid in lungs. Going back to hospital to have fluid drained as soon as it can be scheduled. He’s 86 and has had a good life.

I’m taking my wife to the hospital today to have surgery. She’s considered a high risk patient for several reasons. She’s terrified she’s not going to wake up from the anesthesia. Got little sleep last night.

We’re not even out of January and this year is sucking pretty hard. Historically, this is the time of the year my wife and I are traveling in and around warm climates and enjoying drinks with little umbrellas, but all of that is on hold until these clouds pass.

Wish us luck please.
