Yep. I got the story after my divorce from a SIL. They basically said to the love of my life: "He owns a house, marry him!"
To make a long story short. I worked many hours on my job and buying rental properties only to be told I didn't spend enough time with my wife. She seemed to be pretty busy drinking with her sisters while I was at work.
