Since the mid 1960s to the mid 1990s gun ownership rates went down, gun laws got less citzens friendly and crime rates rose.
ForM the mid 199s till now gun ownership rates have gone up, gun laws have gotten more citizen friendly and crime rates have dropped.
The left want more gun control not to reduce crime but to make us more dependent on the government.
