There was one posted here, or there, of a Hellcat all ripped up and the surrounding damage didn't make a lot of sense. It was interesting to me how each vehicle ended up that way.

The whole field of accident reconstruction involves exactly that. You calculate vehicle entry angles, exit angeles, and create vehicle dynamics diagrams. Using momentum calculations you can figure all that out. There’s a fair bit of physics and trigonometry involved, but you’d be surprised how accurate the results can be.
