The assignment for March is "Shadow". Singular or plural.
It's a very easy subject, yet can be quite tricky. They're all around us but very often taken for granted. The best occur outside in early morning and late afternoon, but will never be the same 2 days in a row. Night time shadows cast by street lights or building lights are everywhere too. OK, enough clues, start noticing the shadows all around you.
You will have to have a camera with you at all times.
Rules:
You must be the photographer, and it must be taken this month. Use whatever camera you have with you at the time.
You may submit several images to get feedback, but by the deadline you must edit it down to one for the voting poll.
Photo manipulation of contrast, brightness, color, sharpness and crop are allowed. "Chopping" something into the image is not allowed. HDR is not allowed. ( I suspect there will be an HDR assignment in the future. Save that technique for that assignment please)
Use of Smart phone apps are not allowed unless used for the standard manipulation listed above. No borders, filters etc. (Again, another assignment )
Deadline for submissions will be 11 PM EST on Thursday March 29th, 2012.
TxAg will compile the submissions into a voting thread that will last 3 days. The Poll will be single vote only and last till 8PM EST on Sunday April 1st.
