That right there just ended flights from Houston to NO. No one will do that, easier to just drive, especially now that there's no traffic. It's probably a 5 1/2 hour trip. Factor in driving to one airport, going through security, flying, getting through the other airport, renting a car.....it's easier to drive even under normal circumstances.
Now we’ve added the highways to the same restrictions.

May I suggest megabus for a cheap trip to Nola? Practically non-stop and only $55 round trip.
