Dont get anything made by MTD in fact. Cub Cadet, Troy Bilt, Toro rider, Bolens, White outdoor, Craftsman LT series...
Deere aint bad...its just alot of money for a name though. Their entry level series has nothing offered with them that is unique..and may of the lower ones use the dreaded K46 hydro..ugh
