Pronghorns, and pretty much all of the other horned/antlered animals mate in the fall. In CO, most stuff is still just grazing and killing off winter. Give it another month or so and they'll start their spring moves.
The pronghorns move across the plains (like where 86 is) all year to find food. They typically have "home", but definitely wander a lot. Their backstrap is some of the best game steak, along with elk, that you can find.
Just had a group of 12 mulies cruise through the yard this evening.
