Now why would I do that? The hospital I volunteer at has a program to help supply the local elementary school with various items. The wife and I talked the volunteers into kicking in $500, so off to Walmart we went. We cleaned out the cheap section of the crayons pretty much then off to the checkstand. It was unbelievable. The cashier actually had to scan every single box we bought, instead of say, punching in .79 and then the quantity. It took 40 minutes to get checked out. The receipt was four feet long. I was flagging people into other lanes and they took my advice.
Then I realized we were 50 miles from the hospital and it was 90 degrees outside and I was hoping we got to our destination before crayons began to melt. It actually didn't get hot in the trunk (white car) and we made it okay. I hope the kids enjoy the crayons.
