I recall the name 'box springs' for the lower supports, from decades ago...but in fact, recently I have just seen wood frames....witch in my case is what broke....
up north I ditched a Simmons Beautyrest/ frame for a waterbed, which at 90f kept me alive for a couple seasons.....
then the move to Florida and marriage, she wanted a normal mattress.....which is fine, temp wise in
